Wow, that's all I can say! The level of skill and care that goes into every pizza is obvious from the very first bite. The texture of the crust has the right level of chew, spring, and airiness (I'm pretty sure they ship the flour from Italy). I love pizza and can't stop coming back to this place. Getting that fine balance between bouncy but light crust just right is very hard to do, but they are so consistent and the crust has been incredible every single time. All of them were delicious, but my favorite was the hot honey pizza. It's classic Neapolitan tradition but with a California twist. The honey, spice, and savoriness work so well together. It's an absolute must get! What impressed me just as much was the value. These pizzas honestly should be going for twice the price given the quality of the ingredients and craftsmanship. Where else can you get this quality for $12?? Risen is truly a local's hidden gem in the South Bay. If you're looking for some of the best Neapolitan pizza in Torrance, Risen Pizza absolutely deserves a visit. Note that they only do takeout that they are not a sit-down location.

I always judge a new pizza spot by the classics, and Risen nailed it. The sourdough crust was perfectly fluffy, the tomato-to-cheese ratio was spot on, and pickup was quick and easy. Not to mention the price point makes it dangerously easy to keep coming back for more...Definitely ordering from here again for the next picnic! I also got to meet the owners, and they were incredibly kind. Love finding local spots like this that care about both the food and the experience.

Risen pizza is SO GOOD! We had the sourdough crust Margherita pizza today and the crust was the perfect mix of crispy and chewy, with great flavor from the sourdough and freshest ingredients. Everything on the menu is delicious, so you really can’t go wrong with whatever you order…but my favorite is the burrata & arugula pizza!

You can really taste the love through their pizza. A lot of thought and intention went into the dough which you can taste after the first bite! I loved how you can taste the oven through the crust, only artisanal pizzas have that quality. It was really easy to order on their website and it was delivered on time!

Tried our first two Risen pizzas today and had a great experience! We had the classic Margherita and the Burrata and Arugula. Both seemed super fresh with the absolute best pizza dough ever! Can’t wait to try more of their menu items!
